The food maybe fantastic however we did not stay to sample any. We made an online booking for 4 and no email was received.The booking was in the system when we arrived and we were shown to a table for 4.The tables are so cramped that if one person needed to go to the toilet 3 other people had to stand up and move so they could get out (this is not an exaggeration) the toilets had no soap or hand towels. The noise was very loud and it was 15 minutes before a waitress could make her way to us (yes it really is that cramped) to see if we wanted a drink. We went for dinner on a Sunday night and was surprised by how busy it was. We were seated quickly with no booking. We flipped through the menu and quickly decided what entrees we would have so we ordered these while we decided on our mains. By the time we had decided our entrees had already arrived. We had the Ha Noi style spring rolls and were not disappointed. All our dishes were full of fresh flavours that we quickly devoured. We even treated ourselves to desserts of coconut creme caramel and banana sticky rice. Luckily we were sharing because they were both as good as each other. We made a booking for two however they had no record when we arrived but fitted us in.Entrees were fresh and nice however the mains also came out while we were still eating. There was no room on the table so the mains were bought out again 20 minutes later. They were the same meals just 20+ minutes old , stodgy and luke warm. They apologised, blamed the kitchen and still charged the same.We left feeling we had been fed leftovers.

Was NNQ, now Mai's kitchen has stepped up and delivered, well the food at least. The omelette, small crispy pork bun, was excellent, can't say the same for the crispy chicken claypot and sadly the service was a Hit and Miss, ordered some drinks that never arrived. So some touch up and it would make this a Great SA gem Reserva una mesa ahora

The service was welcoming, fast and helpful for our first visit to Mai Kitchen. The food was outstanding; full of colour and flavour. We all came away feeling very satisfied.
