Maierhof Gasthaus

For grounded cuisine, I rarely get the full score at Google.Here I like to make an exception for the Maierhof!The inn is located on the edge of Niefern in a commercial mixing area.In itself no really nice location: opposite a down company area.Because of the summer weather we were sitting outside in the yard under an old chestnut.Of course, the tables were already forgiven by generation. Very professional and friendly.In the kitchen are two generations bosses of the house.The menu offers everything that gives good home cooking so.In our four main courses we had decided for Swiss sausage salad, fillets with mushroom cream sauce, Cordon Bleu and acidic kidneys that I had eaten.What should I say?! In the last 54 years, I have rarely eaten such great niches. They were buttery, in a glassy beautiful jus with a few onions. Hübsch serves in Legumes and from the operation with the Spätzle presented professionally on the plate. As it is, a colourful side salad with exclusively fresh and homemade salads. The homemade potato salad was a tasteful highlight: made with broth, vinegar and oil and served room warmth. A culinary dream and wonderful evening ended with an orchard. We agreed that the Maierhof will close forever at the end of 2022. I am very sorry for this and I will certainly come as a guest until then.

Super tasty eating, price is in the upper class but for that it tastes very good *Leider closes the Maierhof at the end of 2022* what I see is a pity. Whenever we were there, the food and the hospitality was very good there was never anything to complain. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Super good food, great beer garden owner with heart...no wish remains unfulfilled...Absolutely recommended....gerne again.
