While the restaurant may not seem like much from the outside, the food was actually excellent, prices were fair, and the staff was friendly and efficient. We sat in the back, maintaining social distance, after ordering at the counter. Everyone wore masks, including us, other customers, and the staff. One of my friends couldn't stop raving about the BLT with Thousand Island dressing instead of mayonnaise - she was hesitant at first but now loves it that way. Another friend thoroughly enjoyed the grilled chicken sandwich, and my husband was very pleased with his burger. All of us had a side of chips, while I opted for soup due to dental issues. I used to eat at this restaurant often when I was younger, but it became more difficult once I became vegan. They do label their vegetarian items, which is helpful. The black bean burger is delicious, but you have to ask for a substitution for the brioche bread (which contains butter and eggs) and request no romesco sauce (which has dairy). I'm not sure if the bean burger patty contains egg or dairy, so I would recommend asking. They also have some sandwiches and wraps that could be made vegan if you exclude the condiments and cheese. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. They also serve Depot Street beer.
I grew up on food here, but unfortunately, when I became vegan, it became much harder. They identify their vegetarian objects that are helpful. Your black bean burger is very good, but you need to replace the Brioche bread that it uses (for butter and eggs) and do not give any Romesco sauce that contains milk. I hope her bean burgerpatty contains no egg or milk, but I'm not sure. They have some sandwiches and wraps that could be made vegan without the spices and cheeses. The staff is incredibly friendly and I love the ambience of the restaurant. They serve Depot Street beer.
I ordered the grilled veggies wheat sandwich and it was very good. Would have been nicer if it was a foot long sandwich instead of 8 inches. We sat outside and it was nice although there was a lot of flies bothering us for some reason. The wait staff was excellent and very attentive by consistent checking in with us as our meal progressed. They kept my drink full as well without me asking. My partner enjoyed her Rueben and broccoli cranberry salad side as well. Will come again!

First time in Jonesborough. Glad we picked this place to eat. They provide great service. You can really tell they aim to please. Fred (the manager) is really good at his job. I thought he may be the owner. Friendly guy. My husband is really picky about his Reuben sandwiches (I had a few bites) it was really was delicious. I enjoyed my grilled cheese sandwich with the tomato bisque.
This café is really good. The atmosphere in the old building is wonderful. The food was excellent. I had a chicken sandwich and my wife had quiche. Both were delicious. The coconut cream pie was amazing. It was a bit disappointing to see the staff still wearing masks. It serves no purpose and makes it hard to understand them. Superstitious thinking needs to go away.
I recently moved to the area and decided to try this restaurant for lunch. I ordered the Mediterranean salad and it was delicious. I also tried the citrus iced tea, which was also very tasty. The young man working at the counter was helpful, kind, and friendly. As a new local, I will definitely be returning to this restaurant again in the future.
My wife and I try to go every week. We absolutely love this place. We are happy to support local, but would go well out of our way to eat here. A very charming spot to enjoy a great meal at a good price. I myself, love the burgers and fries, though everything we have tried was fantastic. I can't praise this place any higher.

One of my friends took me here and I got the bacon cheeseburger. It was simply delectable! My friend got the ham panini (grilled cheese and ham) and she ate it all. We set outside so we could hear ourselves talk; because as anywhere, it's more peaceful. Great experience! Will be back!
