The food is decently good, but the prices are absolutely out of control. I can see how if you are a tourist on vacation from chicago, it may not seem all that insane, but if you're a local worker and don't want to have to drive all the way to sturgeon Bay for affordable groceries you're kind of up a creek. Honestly, I cannot see how anyone can justify such outrageously high prices. I bought one paper bag of groceries, and part of the plastic bag, nothing outrageous or expensive, just some deli meat, some fruits and vegetables, some bread, maybe some muffins for breakfast and I ended up spending $65. You can get the same for much cheaper if you are willing and able to drive to sturgeon bay.
Was very excited on my trip to door county to see a bottle of bourbon I've been hunting for on the meat counter, was not excited to see it marked up 100% over MSRP, just wondering why this item was marked up so much verses the rest of your alcohol, all of which was reasonably priced. Review edited: the response below is just greed. Very glad that when the stores near me get allocated products they charge a reasonable amount, and very glad I didn't buy any of your store picks. It's obvious you have standard distribution, so charging that much is just greedy.
We stopped by while in Door County and were surprised to find a gold mine of interesting wine selections. Based on shopping elsewhere in Door County I felt compelled to point it out here. Worth the drive even if you're up in Sister Bay. Oh, and I have to also call out the butter croissants available in the bakery department. We got a couple for breakfast the next morning and were really happy with them. Trust me, they'll beat the ones you find at most any coffee shop in the county.
I called on short notice because I needed two large quiches. The deli staff was incredibly accommodating and set two aside for me to pick up later that afternoon. Both quiches were fantastic. The food was excellent, and the staff was wonderful!

Fantastic shopping destination! There’s a wonderful selection of brands, featuring high-quality meats and delicious prepared foods. The produce section is spacious and well-stocked, and they also have a liquor store.
Super high prices on regular products, except the unhealthy sugary bakery stuff. Recommend shopping at a larger grocery store for the same stuff at lower cost.
Don't be put off by the staff carrying out your groceries, it is part of their job, and they expect to do it for you! Just a part of that Door County charm.
Main Street is fantastic! They offer a wide selection of products, especially impressive for a small place like Egg Harbor, Wisconsin.

Excellent smoked whitefish dip. The beer and liquor selection is all top notch!
Mostly liquor with very little grocery supplies. Not really a market.
