Born in Canada ... lived in Canada ALL my life. Went to this bar with my friends ... Filipino Chinese East Indian and Jamaicans ... refused service ... ignored us ... served others who were not colored ... first time in my 50plus years in Canada that I experienced racism ... my other Caucasian friends were served immediately!!!! No problem for them but my group of colored friends were ignored and told to leave. After I explained that my Caucasian friends were treated with respect and given a table, only then they offered us a table. The whole experience could not have been better. Our favorite meal in Old Quebec City. The hostess, wait staff, and director were incredible. We started with the brie, warm gooey and toped with cashews, roasted pumkin seeds and a healthy dose of maple syrup. For entrees she had the short ribs which were rich and decadent, with potatoes and cauliflower mash (I believe). I had the pot pie, which was very good, with maybe a little too much crust. For dessert we split the pudding chomeur, and wow was that was incredible. It had a carmelized crust and a side of vanilla ice cream. Yum!

Entirely too loud. I sat at the bar so service was amazing with two very nice bartenders. Hostess left much to be desired. Do not recommend the oysters. Do recommend the gin.

Experience was superb. Delicious and crafty food. Service was impeccable. Our waiter was very personable and attentive. Would definitely return to try other food choices.
