Maison Mâconnaise des Vins

Two restaurants that we had our eyes on were both closed for the half-term week when we arrived in Macon (not a word on their websites ! but we ended up in Maison Maconnais des Vins instead and had a great lunch. Really friendly service, nice ambience with excellent Burgundian food and wines ! Large wine co-operative downstairs too which is well worth a visit. Would definitely recommend 10/10

I personally went into the restaurant to book a table for 2 people. The restaurant was due to close for renovation the following week. The lady I saw was quite rude and just said No table available that week I asked if she could recommend another good restaurant, the answer was No No very helpful

I'm really super happy with this restaurant, a very warm welcome, the personal drawn to 4 pins and a great kindness. I was advised by these very appetizing menus with quality products and their warm welcome. And yes, I found all this today and thank you very much

We popped by and enjoyed a coffee and a gaufre sitting on the terrace. Friendly and welcoming service and good coffee. A lovely quick stop before driving to the motorway. Reserva una mesa ahora

A warm place. nice service. local dishes, simple and excellent. and wines. I was already little by my grandparents taking me there. It's still a must!

The place is more like a theatre decor with its balcony and red sheets. The kitchen is really authentic with local recipes such as frog gratin.
