Fantastic eating experience here, we made reservations about 2 weeks in advance and only early or late times were available. We arrived right at opening time (6pm and it was already buzzing. They have a chalkboard/index card menu in the middle of the restaurant so if you can’t see it from your table, you just have to take a picture to study! The dishes are pretty much tapas style (but slightly bigger portions so we got 4 things to share asparagus, baked oyster, calamari, and gnocchi with morels (see details below . I was visiting Montreal, suggested by a friend to dine and am I ever happy I did! I am a traveler across Canada, and I went by myself to dine at one of Canada's top 100 and I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! From service to food I was enthralled. I dined solo and I sat at the bar, It was an exceptional pleasure to watch the chefs at work. The crudo was amazing, but the real stunner was the meat pie. It invoked a visceral reaction within me and could not hold back tears as I ate the pork shoulder and rabbit meat pie. Stupidly overpriced. The oyster tastes like it's just baked mayo and everyone at our table found it disgusting. No AC. Almost no vegetarian options. Truly though this is the most terrible tapas you'll ever spend 30$ a plate on. There's good fancy food and then there's just whatever overpriced garbage this place is pumping out. It has been my experience that my first visit set a benchmark towards increasing disappointment in later ones.The house cider, seasonal vegetables, and delicious desserts on the patio spelled a bright summer day to me. Perhaps, it was only an unfortunate timing, but the recent menus have done very little to highlight the locality, the dishes being generic with few creative touches.The baked oyster, presumably a classic, is a pool of mayo overwhelmingly salted with marmite drowning a few imperceptibly minuscule pieces of chewy oyster.The refinement and creative touch felt during our first visit has gone with the wind. My favourite restaurant of all time (and I’m a foodie). We found this restaurant a few years ago and have been coming here every time we visit Montreal. We always sit at the bar and ask for five surprise dishes- this method never disappoints! The baked oyster never seems to leave the menu (for good reason). It might be one of my favourite dishes ever. They also have a great selection of natural wines. We’ve had some great skin contact and chilled reds here.

I was completely blown away by this place. I am a big fan of sharing dishes and the eclectic menu they have made it an extremely fun time. While the atmosphere was charming and relaxed, I could tell the staff was laser focused on making it an amazing experience and they succeeded for us. Every dish we got exceeded my expectations. They are clearly very passionate about this restaurant and I'll definitely be stopping by again next time I'm in town.

Food was amazing! Small plates to share are my fave! Folks there were attentive to when we finished a plate and then quickly brought another out, such excellent service!! The owner was helping out around the restaurant and he was really nice and on point with his service as well. Super friendly guy over there! I def recommend this spot!

I love eating here. The menu changes all the time, but all of their dishes are craving worthy. The sauces are so good, you'll wanna eat every last drop. I've been a handful of times, and have left satisfied and very happy every time. Reserva una mesa ahora

Great food with some original ideas. We were especially impressed by the vegetatarian dishes, they outshone the meat options in our opinion, although they were delicious too. Attentive service, will definitely come agai!
