Update: 11/11/23 Nothing has changed. Still amazing food. Ok so this was my first experience and all three of us were blown away. The flavors were really good. I mean, it's more like a bar with really good food than anything. Whatever their concept is intended to be, don't change a F'N thing. The poutine, while not really a poutine by definition, takes it to a level of outstanding I can't even describe. We each had different dishes and not one was not outstanding. Wasn't expecting that level of quality and flavor from a whiskey bar kinda place. Don't even gete started on the bourbon selection. I'd have to mortgage my house to really make a day of it... I absolutely adored the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. This was my second time ordering it. The tables in this restaurant quickly become occupied within just 5 minutes of opening for lunch. If you want to secure a table, make sure to arrive before they open, especially on a Friday. However, there is plenty of bar seating available. The service was friendly and the food arrived promptly and piping hot. The fries were delicious.

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, but there can be long wait times on busy days. We had to wait 45 minutes for a table, and once seated upstairs, we waited a long time for someone to take our order. When we finally did order, the cauliflower lacked flavor and the egg appetizer was disappointing. We decided to cancel our main course as we were not impressed with the appetizers.

I really enjoyed the shrimp and grits at this restaurant. The salmon salad also looked delicious. The service was good and the meal was a dine-in lunch. The price per person was around $20-30. We tried the short rib poutine and cauliflower tots, which we all found delicious. I ordered the Veggie burger with a side salad, and loved the crunchy mushroom patty and fresh presentation. The atmosphere at the restaurant added to the modern and cozy feel of the place, making it a great spot for a social gathering.

I'm not impressed with this restaurant. The gumbo was terrible and the burgers were just okay. It ended up being a $240 night, but my friends were the highlight of the evening. I would rate the food and service a 3 out of 10, but the atmosphere was decent with a 5 out of 10.
