Stopped in after dinner to get drinks and dessert. We tried the craft cocktails: G.O.A.T. and Ain?t Nothing But A Hound Dog, and also had a Brownie dessert (added ice cream to make it into a Sundae! and although the drinks were not typical of what wenormally would order, we enjoyed everything else about Maize Mash! The ambiance, service, and the dessert were incredible! We were offered an opportunity to change out our drinks since they were stronger than what we are used to (beer or winedrinkers , but opted to stick through and continue sipping on them. To me, the G.O.A.T. has a definitive taste of meat off thegrill (from the bacon flavor and the Hound Dog required more of the Banana Liquor...
Update: 11/11/23 – Nothing’s changed. The food is still incredible. This was my first visit, and all three of us were completely impressed. The flavors were fantastic. It feels more like a bar with outstanding food rather than the other way around. Whatever their concept is, they shouldn’t change a single thing. The poutine, although not traditional, reaches a level of excellence that’s hard to put into words. Each of us tried different dishes, and every single one was exceptional. I didn’t expect such high quality and flavor from a whiskey bar-type spot. And don’t even get me started on the bourbon selection—I’d probably have to mortgage my house to fully enjoy it... maybe next week... haha...
we are so happy to have this place just a few minutes away from home. the atmosphere is cool and cool. Eating is good, I hope they have more choice on their menu. we love the philly cheesesteak, but they took it from the menu. we love this place and will continue to visit.
The staff is really great and have amazing attitudes and make you feel extremely welcomed. The managers are heavily knowledgeable about their whiskey selection and the atmosphere is homey, sophisticated and inviting.

The service at this restaurant was exceptional, and the appetizers were truly delicious. The mushroom chicken risotto was incredible.

Absolutely love this place. I have not had a bad item from the menu. The shrimp and grits is so delicious!
