We ordered two to-go platters: one with four pieces of chicken and the other with crab cakes. Unfortunately, the chicken was overly salty and fried too hard. The macaroni salad was also too salty, and the portion was quite small—more like a child's size. It seems they use the same amount of salt for the sides as they do for steamed crabs, which is excessive. The French fries were overcooked and tough. I would recommend sticking with their crabs, as they are delicious. However, we will never order the platters again. To make matters worse, our food wasn't even placed in a closed container! We all enjoyed our meal – the food was delicious, well-seasoned, and easy to eat, with hearty portions and some large claws. The service was friendly, and the potato salad was great too! Overall, we rated the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars. We had a takeout lunch and loved every bit of it!

Had good prices. Crabs were seasoned and cooked well. Decided to try the fried chicken. Was some of the best fried chicken ive had in a very long time. Cream of crab soup was also fantastic. Really solid crab shack
