I may be late writing this review, but I honestly don’t even know where to begin because Makani Lounge and its people are simply the best. They hosted my graduation party and were the only restaurant willing to take on the challenge, especially since I planned everything in less than a week. They played a huge role in making the event a success. They exceeded all my expectations with their spotless venue, delicious food, excellent service, and friendly staff. No matter what I say, I can’t fully express how happy I am.
$18 hookah Monday-Thursday? Yeah that's a big fat lie. We went there and ordered hookahs and when it was time to leave the Hispanic guy checking us out tried to deny us the deal. $30+ per person for just hookah? What a joke. Other skinny arab guy seemed more focused on smoking hookah/ chatting it up with girls, giving me dirty looks the entire time I was there. I get the waiters can smoke hookah but with such a small confided space you would think they wouldn't right? He
I ordered from Door Dash about 5 hours before the restaurant closed. They estimated a 45-55 minute delivery time, but the food arrived 90 minutes later. The meal had a thin layer of rice at the bottom, so thin that I could see the tin foil through the grains of rice. The delivery driver had to wait over 20 minutes at the restaurant for the food to be prepared, which was already 30 minutes past the time I placed my order.

After the remodel, the place truly feels welcoming and inviting. Always enjoyed coming to Makani, but now with a greater atmosphere and great vibe, it?s going to be hard for me to go somewhere else. Best part about this place is their prices. Very affordable prices for food, drinks, and hookah. Can definitely make this your daily hang out spot this summer. Can?t wait for them to bring out the outdoor seating ????
I have ordered online and their food is decent but this is not an appropriate place for families to dine in. When i visited, every table in the restaurant had a hookah and the complete dining area filled with the smoke. Some people were playing cards as well. We left immediately. Definitely not a place to dine in with family. It looked like a hookah bar instead of a restaurant.
I ordered something online and it showed 20 minutes I got there in 25 minutes I was on a lunch break so limited time and when I got there they didn’t even start the order and I was told 10 more minutes which ended in 15 minutes. It wasn’t like it was busy there was no one. terrible service, how are you operating a busy and don’t understand online order. Food: 5 Service: 1
We celebrated a friend’s birthday at Makani Lounge and had an amazing time. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful. The only drawback was that the staff was a bit short-handed, causing longer wait times than we anticipated. Nonetheless, the team was friendly and attentive. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely return.

My wife and I recently dined at Makani Lounge, enjoying a falafel sandwich along with tea and shisha. The food was flavorful, and the shisha was outstanding. The menu features a quote, "Come as a friend and leave as family," which truly reflects the warm and welcoming experience we had.
Amazing Hookah! Amazing Food! Amazing Service! Hands down! Visiting from Chicago loved everything about this restaurant lounge! Mazen was literally THE GREAT!!!
