When I entered this small restaurant, I encountered a waitress who also acted as the host. I politely requested a bowl of soup, specifically ramen, and mentioned that I wanted it to be not spicy. However, to my surprise, she served me spicy ramen instead. Are you serious? The soup was just okay—I'd give it one star. I also ordered a roll, but it was nothing special. Would I recommend this place to someone who doesn't like their food? Absolutely not. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and the sushi wasn’t fresh.
Ordered over $60 in food the other night. It took 45-50 mins, for a couple cut rolls, sashimi,gyoza, and a few other things, honestly some of the worst sushi I’ve ever had. The yellow tail was more of a grey/brown tail, the sushi was chewy and slimy, smelt just like the harbor, honestly I’ve had better gas station sushi, and all these people on here talking about the ramen is good…. Just FYI I saw the package it comes out of… you Can buy the same brand at the 99 cent store on harbor…. Your welcome.
I ordered delivery from this restaurant and was very pleased with my experience. They paid attention to all the notes I included in my order, which I really appreciated. The food was prepared quickly, especially considering it was lunchtime, so that was definitely a bonus! I don't have too much to add since it was a carryout/delivery order, but the food itself was quite good!
Next, I ordered a simple California roll, and when it arrived, it was overly salty—I didn’t want to finish it, but I felt like I had to. While I was eating, I noticed the cashier on her phone instead of attending to her duties. This experience has left me reluctant to return to Maki Yaki in the future.

Great food, very spicy for ramen. I had a lot of good times here. It’s a small restaurant and food takes longer than expected but worth it. I would only get the ramen and add extra noodles, extra soup with egg, beef, and veggies.
Our office ordered at 11am and it's now 1:36pm and they still haven't finished our order! The poor dasher delivery person has been there over an hour. Horrible service. Let's see if they give us a discount.
Great food, small place but w/ quiet calm ambience due to being undiscovered.Not a place to bring a date, probably, but fine by oneself.
My favorite place to eat the spicy ramen is 10/10 the owner is very sweet she's my favorite . Everything on the menu is delicious
