The Malay Paradise caters to the locals does it well. It has a varied menu with some varied items as well as the more traditional. Its also great value for money. I stuck with the traditional prawn laksa it was fabulous. Really generous...serve too and the prawns were many, SOO fresh a great size. It was the standout of the evening. We also has seafood megoreng which was also generous but was a little heavy on the curry powder flavour. We also ordered garlic prawns for entree roti with curry sauce. The rotis were really tasty but they filled us up too much for our other courses. The Malay is byo only unless your drinking water. We'll definitely be back to try some of the other menu items
We've dined here twice recently and both experiences were great. On both occasions, the service was very good, friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. The choices on the menu are extensive and all tempting. Prices are very reasonable. The only downside is the...lights are possibly too bright but not really a big issue at all as the mood and ambiance of the restaurant are OK, plus I do like to be able to see the menu. It is certainly a place for small to large groups, located in an interesting little spot, and parking is easy. Recommend highly.
After living in the area for a few months, we finally tried out this cozy restaurant and I regret waiting so long! It fulfills all expectations when it comes to food: top-notch quality, reasonable prices, and generous portions. Plus, it's only $1 per person to bring your own alcohol! We were so immersed in the delicious food that I forgot to snap a photo when it arrived. I highly recommend this place.
recently moved into the opposite and went to try something curry. it took forever because only one girl served the curry was not on the standard and we found it very salty specify high concentrations of msg. they also worked the...kitchen for the kidnapping and ignored the restaurant itself. very bad quality and we will not be back.

the meal was nice, one of the best places I was. the atmosphere is happy and welcoming. we had a booking and had a nice waitress for us. eating was fast and fast while also enjoying the dinning experience. I'll be the most. definitiw return and also order takeaway. i 100% recommend malay restaurant.
We eat there regularly. Ronnie and June are great hosts. Servings are generous and food is very good. Combination Chow Mein, Malaysian Pork ribs, Penang curry Chicken and assorted entrees are just some of the very good dishes. Its BYO and the prices make the...meals very good value.
This neighborhood restaurant offers a wide selection of affordable Malay dishes. We have eaten in and also tried the takeout, and while the food is decent, the only downside is that the roti is very oily. Overall, it's a great option for a budget-friendly night out.
Interesting little restaurant run by some lovely folk with Hong Kong background. Don't be afraid to order outside the menu as the lovely ladies will certainly do their best to suit your tastes.

We have had a lovely meal with friends at this restaurant. Food good flavours, obviously fresh, decent portions, and good price. Would love to return. Service was very good and attentive.
