At some point it became Malibu Eatery , a weird name that sounds more like a cafeteria for a hospital. Never liked it but still admired the place and its food and prices. The pandemia and work took its toll on all of us plus work demands making me stay away from this location for a while. Today I came back to my beloved Malibu Fish Grill aka Malibu Eatery. I have been a loyal Malibu customer for several years. Received an email indicating BOGO . Called to place my order and the young lady said she did not know of a special and bring in the e mail. Sure! Got there and it became one of life 's embarrassing moments in front of my family (visiting mom). Yup Downhill and it doesn 't have to go but they don 't care. Ron N.
I got the keto bowl with salmon and no rice or quinoa. The broccoli wasn't super cooked but that's more nutritional anyway so I'm good with it! The salmon was delicious and everything seemed really fresh. I'll be back for sure!
Horrible hostess with a mask and zero personality will greet you behind the counter. There's only one cook so have plenty of patience. Captain Kidd's seafood restaurant one mile southwest has better service and food.
