Malt Shovel - Reserva de mesa

This is one of the best Real Ale pubs in the area, and there will always be at least 4, and usually up to 8 or 9 different, non-Badger, brews on tap. Recently the Malt Shovel has become one of the premier live music venues in the Horsham area, with live music at least two or three times a week, including every Friday and Saturday night (unless there's an England Rugby match on TV). With good food, friendly staff, and a pretty welcoming clientele, this pub deserves its regular place in the Good Beer Guide. It's also my local... ;o) G

Some fantastic real cask ales on offer here that I've never tried before. Merlin's Oak is definitely one to check out but they have plenty of guest ales on depending on the seasons. Its quite a popular place for live bands so do check the website to see whats coming up. There's plenty of space in here to escape the crowds if so desired. Only pizza is on offer here for food or filled rolls but the pizzas are really nice. The spicy meatball one is great.

If you enjoy drinking at an old fashioned pub where the staff are brilliant and the beer is excellent, then this is the pub for you. I especially recommend shear drop . On the other hand if you want to drink very cheap beer and the staff are bored senseless, go down the road to Wetherspoon 's .

This afternoon, I visited The Malt Bucket and was very impressed by the selection of Cask Ales and the quality of them. The bartender was also a gem, very knowledgeable about ales and very friendly. I will definitely be a returning customer. Reserva una mesa ahora

Excellent range of real ales. Out of 9 pumps 3/4 change on a weekly basis. Sam, the landlord knows his stuff. Good selection of spirits including Old Grandad whiskey. Well worth a visit.

some fantastic real Cask-Ales here I've never tried. merlin’s oak is a definitiw one to check, but they have many guest ales on.
