I visited Mama Ayesha?s for a friend?s birthday and it was a great experience. The food and ambiance were great. Every dish had the perfect amount of seasoning and flavor. We went on a Tuesday night, and there was only one other party dining while we were there. Overall, the experience was great besides our waiter who was a bit rude. He walked away from us while we were ordering on multiple occasions which rubbed me the wrong way. Either way, it?s worth a visit. We

Mama Ayesha is a really nice Arabic restaurant. It has great ambience. Service was fast, and my waiter, Alex, was attentive. I expected my meal portion to be larger. However, the main criticism I have for it is that it doesn?t live up to its reputation as ?your mother?s Palestinian cooking.? There are very few proper traditional dishes?where?s the molokhiya? Mansaf? Mujaddara? Kufta? Why are so many traditional Palestinian dishes missing? But most significantly,

Ambience is on point. Main course is well made , fresh and tasty. We had grill platter and loin chops the loin chops were particularly tasty and cooked to perfection. The rice has a very distinct taste which is good. However the menu is pricey for the portion size. We spent around 45 dollars including tips person. I guess it might be typical for a higher end place in DC. However the major issue and the reason for 3 stars was the kunafa. Although they said it's

Fantastic food! You can taste the freshness and authenticity. Everything is prepared upon ordering. There are ample vegetarian options. The halloumi is worth trying and the falafels are crispy with a perfectly moist filling! The cocktails are fantastic and the service is extremely friendly. Almost everything we ordered was delicious and I look forward to frequenting their establishment! Reserva una mesa ahora

Went there with family a few days ago and everyone loved the food. The restaurant was empty at the time because we were there on a Friday at 2:30 pm. I've been here several times before and the food and service is always good. Definitely recommend.

I believe everyone who posts reviews on this site comes across the following internal conflict sooner or later: do I post a review about that neighborhood

Service was slow even though they were not particularly busy. Food was mediocre at best. Based on reputation I expected much more.

I had walked past Mama Ayesha's for years on my way back and forth to Adams Morgan, but only just recently stopped in. Reserva una mesa ahora
