Mama Chepa's Latin

Not impressed with the food portions for take out. Flavor was there though. On some of the pictures posted by others, it seemed like a good amount of food but was disappointing to get such a small portion for $18+. The spoon within the pictures I posted is a regular plastic spoon so based off of that measurement angle, you'll realize how small the meals are. 5 pieces of chicken sliced, 6 slices of flank steak and 3 shrimp. Yeah this isn't your typical review, I live on Garrisonville so I'd go somewhere else to spend my money if I wanted that kind of food. Smh.

There is ample parking available due to the presence of other stores in the shopping complex. The restaurant is conveniently located on the first floor, and you can easily access it by passing through the double doors. If you have dietary restrictions, keep in mind that finding vegan options may be challenging. However, there is a Hispanic store in the complex where you might discover suitable items, or you could head to Walmart for groceries.

I hadn't eaten at Mama Chepa's since they moved from their old location across 610, but today I was craving some chicken soup, so I decided to give them a call. I have to say, the soup exceeded my expectations just like it did at the previous location. The spicy slaw was also fantastic and packed with flavor! I definitely plan to come back. The pupusas here are amazing! They generously provide plenty of sauce and curtido. However, I found the price of the taco combo to be a bit excessive, especially given the small portions of rice and beans served in tiny containers. Reserva una mesa ahora

The pupusas were subpar, and the one I had from that lady was disappointing. I definitely won't be returning to that place due to the poor service.

They offered a wide selection of Latin American dishes. I ordered some food to take away and really enjoyed the pupusas and yuca with chicharrón.

I ordered the Caldo de Res and a Pupusa, and both were fantastic. However, I would have liked a bit more meat in my soup.

DELICIOUS! The food is made fresh from scratch! I highly recommend the pupusas and the chicken soup.

The pupusas were broken, that lady's pupusa stinks, I won't go back to that place, very bad service.
