Mama Dumplings (saint Jean)

The wait time was quite long, but I suppose that’s a sign of good food. Unfortunately, our plates were dirty, and the table wasn’t properly attended to. We had to go get our own chopsticks and sauces. Overall, it was a mixed experience.

The restaurant was quite noisy, and my friend had difficulty placing her order because the cashier didn’t speak French. The counter was dusty, and the kitchen appeared unclean. The dumplings did not meet our expectations...

The shrimp and pork coriander dumplings were exactly what I was craving. The shrimp was delicious and cooked to perfection, and there was just the right amount of flavorful soup inside. Yummy!

I think I'll be coming here at least once a month! It's my favorite dumpling spot on the West Island, and it has a cozy atmosphere. Service: Takeout Meal Type: Lunch.

The presentation could be improved, and the dumplings would benefit from more peanut sauce and green onions. Overall, it feels overpriced for what you get.
