What's going on with this place ? I was such a huge fan when they opened I even started going to the one in Passaic. The last couple times I've gone recently it's disgusting. The food is burnt but cold, barely any meat on the chicken and they give you two drums w no meat on it. Flies everywhere I couldn't even eat my food in peace, the salad was super vinergary you could tell the cucumbers were old. I went to the bathroom MORE flies. Cmon guys? I wasn't even going to write a review but this is the second time I eat there and have a stomachs ache after. I'm never. Going back. I think they are under new or different management bc it was never like this before.
suspended in kaohsiung, taiwan without any Dominican restaurants, my friend and our family decided to meet here and rehearse all the delicacies. teller after plate remained with overwhelming Caribbean taste and textures. the attentive staff was there to ensure that everyone was met with a smile. Of course, we had more than we could finish in a session, but who could not say dessert? dulce de leche cheesecake, flan and tres leches cake. all in very generous portions. total value of the 7000 miles trip.
Ever since I moved to Paterson a few years ago, I have not stopped going to Mama Elena’s. Being that it was a 5 minute drive from where I lived and the food and service has always been top notch!!! In fact, I moved further away and still visit Mama Elenas regularly. I definitely recommend!!! Nothing beats their service and prices.
Just ordered from this restaurant off of Doordash. It was so good! The food was fresh and made from love. I added special orders and they completed them. Would definitely recommend!

I ordered water because the menu did not offer coffee as an option. I called the restaurant directly to request coffee, but they still sent water.
this food never tastes terrible again. my flesh was tuff and my rice was hard with not much taste.
I recommend no one to eat here . Found a tampon in my drink . Horrible customer service
The white rice was hard as a rock never ordering here again!!! Not recommended

That mangu was extremely bland. It didn't have a single pinch of salt.
The chicken is barely cooked! Absolutely revolting.
