Mama Mia's Sweet Creations Bakery

Without question, the worst Italian food I ever had in my life. I got stuffed mushrooms that tasted like they were nothing more than mushrooms topped with plain breadcrumbs soaked in cheap vegetable oil and cooked until burnt. The lasagna was one layer thick (ha ha menu says comes with layers of meat a ricotta cheese-that could have fooled me) and eggplant that was eggplant mush buried in bland tomato sauce . The fried calamari was undercooked. The hot antipasto for two was mostly tomato sauce in a pan with a couple of muscles and a couple of stuffed shelled macaroni and allegedly with shrimp and clams, but if there were they was hard to find.

Mama Mia's is an old school motto serving traditional Portuguese comfort food. It's like they have a Portuguese grandma back there and make the seafood and sausage dishes that are iconic for the kitchen. We especially liked the Carne Alentejana super delicate wine brat pork beside fresh shells and crispy potatoes. And the Bacalhau Belissimo is a satisfying combination of cod and chouriço. Very nice. The Broccoli rave comes with some dishes and you can order it as a page it is garlicky and quite delicious.

BEST PENNE ALLA VODKA EVER!!! Order the Italian wings for an appetizer that never disappointed! I've been coming to Mama Mia for years! I love the family-run restaurant and I FREQUENTLY order food trays for my events. Cardoso's Bakery is also at Mama Mia's! Absolutely delicious!

Great food, especially love the Portuguese, we love the Italian too. We go there often and have never been disappointed. Never too crowded which is a plus. They've been in business for 34 years so they must be doing something right. In house pastries to die for. Reserva una mesa ahora

Family business restaurant for almost 40 years. Food was fantastic, they offer both Italian Portuguese cuisine. Very small inside. Big bakery on premise. Just reason for 4 stars, not great wine selection. But overall it would be highly recommended.

Was there for a friend's birthday the food was delicious and great pastries. Family business and they treat you like part of the family definitely worth the trip will be back. So many things to choose and all delicious made fresh.

It wasn't long with Mama Mia. Whom last night and wonder why we weren't before. We had an exceptionally excellent Zuppa Di Peace meal. Very large quantity and quality at a reasonable price. Service was very good. Reserva una mesa ahora

My husband and I are pizza fends born and raised in the Bronx and have such a hard time finding GOOD pizza up here. That's the point! I really dared that I won't get a cake from somewhere else soon.

Very disappointed in take out chef salad. Very sloppy presentation, little meat, no hardboiled egg, or peppercino of course iceberg lettuce
