We usually enjoy dining at Mama's, but our recent experience was not up to our usual standard. It seemed like there was a graduation event happening at the ShoWare Center across the street, which may have contributed to the off night. We were seated promptly at our reservation time by a friendly hostess, but it took a while for our waitress to acknowledge us. We were left waiting without any attention, water, or offers for drinks. When the waitress finally arrived, we ordered appetizers, only to find out that the French bread we usually enjoy was no longer available and was replaced with focaccia bread, which we didn't find to be as good. Seated promptly at our reserved time at two tables for 8 people, app and drink order taken within 5 mins, super friendly server and attentive to our needs. It was quite loud as it was high school grad night and lots of families were there. The food is great, we were there during happy hour and many of the food items are available for less. We ordered, ate and checked out within 1hr 15min, plenty of time to make the graduation. I love the mocktail drink menu. Im a fan.
The server continuously forgets to input my telephone number for their loyalty program, resulting in me not receiving the reward each time. When I inform them about the oversight, they respond with, "I already processed the payment and cannot go back." This has occurred on five separate occasions.
It was a few years since we dined at Mama’s. The chicken pear salad was not as good as it used to be. We ordered the large serving but got the smaller serving. Maybe they have been downsized.

Great food; good service; margarita made as requested. Appreciate being given a booth because it was a years-too-long reunion with an old friend and needed catch-up time.
