We had lunch with a group of co-workers at papa tai and they were pretty overwhelmed by the size of the group. (6 people)They didn't manage to bring the food at the same time, it took more then an hour for them to prepare everything and they messed up two orders.Nevertheless, the waitress stayed cool and friendly and tried to help as good as she could.However, she was clearly overwhelmed with the situation.The food though was very good and tasty.Usually I can recommend the restaurant but the service isn't the best.
The sushi here tasted fishy and was not great. The noodle dishes had fresh herbs and tasted healthy but were a bit bland (not very saucy--think more Vietnamese style than Thai style). Also the restaurant is now called Mama Tai Papa Tai and has a slightly different location just up the road less than a 100 meters and on the left from the location that comes up on google maps.
We ate here with 6 persons. As a starter we had soup, great taste. After that we had a mixed sushi plate. This was very well prepared, fresh and tasted exceptionally well. As a main course we had a choice of their vietnamese specialties. This was good. The service is good ! A big competitor for best friends and oichi.
We had dinner in this fine restaurant. It's located in a street full of dining places. The was served fast and was very delicious We took four different dishes and soup and we loved it. The prices are fair and the service was affective.

We like their food, my fave is the mama deluxe starter and rice with duck, curry etc. fresh ingredients and plenty of herbs. service is quick and the waiter polite and friendly. recommended place if you like asian / Vietnamese cuisine.
Both the food and the service are great. Sushi is delicious and well balanced. Service is great. The staff managed to accommodate us inside with our stroller. Strongly recommended.
We had a great time here with delicious food of fresh ingredients and lovely staff who helped us through the menu to find what's best for us (including my vegan wining;)
Mama Tai offers a huge variety of delicious dishes from several Asian countries. Service is fast and friendly. Price worthy and fresh food.
