As lovers of spicy Indian and Malaysian food, we came here expecting to be disappointed. We ordered a Mysore Masala Dosa (basically a traditional Masala Dosa smeared with a extra chilli tomato paste) and a Lamb Roti Murtabak which came with a bowl of fragrant lamb & chicken coconut curry. The food was sensational!! The flavours were authentic and everything tasted like it had been freshly made from scratch (instead of the usual commercial curry paste/sauces). The dosa and the murtabak was as good as or probably even better than anything we've eaten in India or Malaysia!! We'll definitely be back to try some things!

Ordered a takeaway from Mamak last night as I had been hearing rave reviews. Overall very good, but there were a couple of things that mark it down a star. Much of the menu was 'unavailable ' when ordering which was a little disappointing. Also, the 'mixed chutneys and pickle ' we ordered was nothing more than a tiny plastic tub full of store bought mango chutney (no pickle). Other than that, the food we did receive was tasty, not greasy and fresh. Will be back.
I came in and ordered a chicken vindaloo medium and the meat samosas. I must say I was blown away. The chicken was cooked to perfection succulent and moist and the sauce not overly bitter. The potion size was also impressive. Large mouth watering pieces of chicken to bite into. The samosas were also on point and are perhaps the best I've had. Full of mince and a little bit, just the right amount of spice and balance. These guys were flat out and now I know why.
I have finally found an Indian/Malaysian place that is extremely delicious! I always get a bit worried trying these sorts of restaurants as a lot of them tend to make their food very sweet. This place is by far the greatest Indian and Malay food I have ever tried! My family is from Malaysia and to try this place took me on a holiday back there. I highly recommend and will gladly drive a big distance to get there!

I had a delicious meal here recently, everything was so full of flavour! I love being able to give 5 stars to a restaurant, and this place definitely deserves it. Service was friendly and the food came out quickly. Servings were generous and the prices were very reasonable. Can't wait to come back at dinner to try the biryani. Highly recommend!
3.75 Slow service however offers a great selection of food. We tried the: • Butter chicken great dish, quite heavy and on the sweet side. Meat was nice and tender • Beef Rendang also another heavy dish, meat was dry in some part however nice seasoning • Cheese nan ours didn't really have any cheese in it all all so was a bit disappointing
After having great Birthday party of my friend with unforgettable food test and awesome fresh food. I will definitely say that Malai Kofta which one is mu favourite dish which i guess best test i have ever in Brisbane. Thanks Mamak Chef and Staff for unmatchable service love it!!! Best Indian food in Brisbane. I could eat their butter chicken with garlic naan for dinner every day. I've never had a more flavorsome Indian meal.
