A great little find situated in The Rise complex in Maylands, Mamalilli's is a small breakfast and lunch cafe with good, simple food and friendly service. I've visited twice recently for brunch and lunch, and enjoyed the reasonably priced food and the good coffee. I've tried the Spanakopita pastry which wasn't bad, but enjoyed their toasted sandwich much more. They didn't have the avocado toast we wanted so they suggested we try the toasted egg, cheese and beetroot. Beetroot in a toasted sandwich? It actually worked really well and my friend and I ordered one each. It was a massive sandwich though, and we could have easily shared one as neither of us could finish it. The sourdough toast was...

Mamalilli is nestled under the Rise overlooking the park and is a real gem. It's run by a husband and wife team who clearly are talented in the kitchen and know what service is about. The chef ... Yes chef has actually won a few awards for fine dining establishments. Wits he doing in this tiny cafe .... who cares? Try it and you will see. The coffee is good the food even better. There was a large group of us and we sat outside on a spring day, perfect. We could talk easily and yet we were not forgotten. I will be back !
mamalilli lies under the rise with views of the park and is a real gem. it is guided by a man and a woman who are well talented in the kitchen and know what we are about. the chef. yes chef has actually won a few prizes for fine restaurants. did he do that in this little caffeine? try it and they will see. the coffee is good eating even better. there was a big group of us and we sat outside on an early day, perfect. we could talk easily and yet we were not forgotten. Awesome High Tea. Great little cafe serving a top notch high tea. Although very casual and no need to dress up the service was flawless and the food was so flavoursome and varied. Really enjoyed all elements of the high tea but especially the sandwiches and scones. Perfect. Highly recommend for a casual catch up that not pretentious.
High tea. Great little spot for a casual high tea. Deb is very attentive particularly with dietary requests. All the food is made fresh and coffee is sourced locally. We were so full we had to take our Macarons home! You wouldn't think this little cafe would have such lovely high tea and we will definitely return for more!
Absolutely wonderful place went there a few weeks back with some friends for high tea I can say it's the best high tea I have ever had outstanding someone really knows what they are doing here great place I recommend this place to everyone I can. And coming from a chefs point of view aswell just saying.
