Mama's Papa's Japanese Cafe

The Ton Katsu (pork katsu) is simply amazing, and the vegetable tempura is delicious. The teriyaki salmon is fabulous, and the sushi is honestly some of the best I've ever had. The rice is perfectly moist, and the balance of flavors and textures in each piece is just spot on. I even enjoyed the vegetable sushi! I could go on and on about the menu. In short, Mama's and Papa's is the best thing to happen in Wembley since I moved here. It’s a true culinary delight! P.S. You can see the Ton Katsu and vegetable tempura in the attached photos.

After many visits to this restaurant I am never left disappointed.  The food is superb and the Tempura the best I have ever had with a twist!  We have recommended this restaurant to so many people and everyone has been very impressed, with the food, service and the affordability.  The couple who own the business are the nicest people and care very much.  I have no doubt that too will enjoy this beautiful little cafe.

It's not fine dining or trendy, and they don't serve alcohol, but the food is excellent and reasonably priced. It's definitely worth returning to regularly. We tried the popular hamburger place across the street, but my wife ended up coming here to get something she really wanted to eat.

Took my son mum there last night, everything was delicious as usual- we had chicken karage, chili chicken teriyaki salmon, and loved it all. The food at Mama’s Papa’s is always so fresh and full of flavour- can’t wait to go back!!!

Amazing food, relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful people who run this gorgeous little cafe with amazing authentic Japanese in suburban Perth. Wembley is better for having a place like this in it.

The service was awful. We had a group of eight and didn't mind sitting at separate tables, but we were told we couldn't. This was surprising, especially since the restaurant was empty.
