After experiencing many disappointing meals in a variety of restaurants in and around south Tyneside. We decided to use Mambos in Hebburn fully expecting a further let down.. imagine our surprise and delight from the start. We received a pleasant welcome and shown to a very comfortable table. After perusing the attractive menu we decided on starters of black pudding in a pepper sauce and Calamari Frita.. the chosen main course for us both was the roasted lamb. This arrived accompanied by a large golden crispy Yorkshire pud and fresh vegetables. Everything was delicious. So well Presented and swiftly delivered. We always have a great time at Mambos II. They have a diverse menu with delicious food and excellent service. During our last visit, my husband had the black pudding starter and said it was the best he's had in a long time. The pizza was also very tasty with a crust that was actually edible, unlike many others we've tried. We had a wonderful evening, topped off with a complimentary Amaretto shot. We can't wait to go back for our next visit.
I recently enjoyed a delightful dinner at this restaurant with my mom and daughter in the early evening. We all took advantage of the happy hour menu and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. The staff were also very friendly. I highly recommend Mambos II. I look forward to trying the black pudding starter next time.
Wow! What a bitter disappointment. I ordered a takeaway pizza and pasta from the establishment and could barely believe how poor the quality of the food was. If you value your tastebuds look elsewhere. Quite shocked as it has good reviews.

This little restaurant is a dime. The quality of food is top notch. The staff take care of you, and customer service is fantastic. It’s a perfect local place to sit in or grab a takeaway.

We have been here a few times and the food is always nice. It seems that the prices have been raised but I guess most places have gone up. The staff are nice amd would reccomemd

A lovely lunch, excellent pizza with a super crust. Stroganoff and chicken were tasty. Friendly, efficient service. Peanut allergy catered for. Decent value for money.
