Friendly staff—almost enough to win me over! But it's the food that really steals the show. The dishes are excellent and reasonably priced. With just a few tables and some soft Mexican music in the background, it's a nice, budget-friendly spot to enjoy a meal, and everything is fresh. The only downside is that they don't have a liquor license, so no beer or margaritas, which is why I deducted one star. However, there's a great bar next door with a happy hour. I recommend grabbing some happy hour margaritas at the bar first, then heading to Mamey's for the food. Enjoy!

Their tortas could use some enhancement, although they do have a nice variety, and the meats are well-seasoned. Unfortunately, the presentation and packaging are lacking; the way they wrap the food causes it to get soggy quickly. That said, I would keep coming back for the price, especially if I can dine in. The fries are delicious, but they should definitely be eaten right away to be enjoyed at their best.

I haven't yet dined at the restaurant in person; this review comes from a DoorDash delivery experience. The carnitas were outstanding, boasting an ideal balance of ingredients—excellent pork with just the right amount of juiciness, without being overly messy! The pastor tacos are incredible, and the black beans and yellow rice are delightful as well. I'm thrilled to have discovered such a fantastic Mexican restaurant right in my neighborhood!

I absolutely love this place! My boyfriend and I discovered it a year ago, and the carnitas tacos are simply the best! They also have a great selection of soft drinks. The service is excellent; the woman at the front is incredibly sweet. The prices are very reasonable as well. If you're in search of authentic Mexican food in a great atmosphere, you definitely need to check out this restaurant!
I ordered bean tacos and this is what they gave me. It looks like they slapped a bunch of canned beans on a bunch of cold tortillas. No flavor at all. I don’t think I would try anything else on the menu. These tacos were very disappointing.
The food is always top-notch, and the woman at the counter reminds me of my grandmother! You really can't make a bad choice with anything on the menu.
Went for the first time, won't be the last! Tacos were delicious, guacamole was so fresh, chicken quesadilla was awesome and the flan was yummy!!

This charming little restaurant has friendly staff and exceptional food. We found it a few months ago and have been back several times since.
Best shrimp taco salad I have ever had! The churros with the chocolate sauce are heavenly!
