Mamma Mia Trattoria Pizzeria

This is the first time we have tried Mamma Mia. It was highly recommended by friends. The atmosphere is great, we had a good table beside the fountain. The food was fabulous. No complaints. The only slightly disappointing bit was the staff. They were all young'ish girls which isn't the problem. They were friendly. It is their lack of attention to detail. There were 4 of us, they served 3 of the meals and that was it, after waiting around 5 minutes we called a waitress over to see about the missing meal, she said "oh you are missing one?" and looked around our table confused. The chef had forgotten it, so we had to wait for it to come out. Also when they come to clear the table, they come rushing at you and reach across people quite fast and almost aggressive. They need to be trained on serving and clearing and to take note of what they are serving. However, we would still definitely go back for the food as when we got it all, it was fabulous.

I hate going to a restaurant and paying good money for food and being disappointed - not at this place!!! Service was excellent, enjoying my meal while watching a sunset - brilliant and above all the food was just divine! It is so hard to find a great, well priced and authentic Italian restaurant. I had the gnocchi in 4 cheese sauce and it was the best I have had in a very long time. I could wax lyrical about this dish for days - it was perfect, flavours were amazing. Dessert - I have been so disappointed in the past by desserts that were wheeled out having sat in a fridge for days, with some trepidation I tried the Cannoli - it did not disappoint. In fact, it too was the best I have had in a very long time. I was surprised that when I left to pay, inside was quite busy, no doubt because everybody else knows how good this place is. I will most certainly be back here again.

Arrived on a busy Friday night and seated quickly (Luckily we booked) Entree and meals came out quickly. Drinks service was perhaps a wee bit off the mark, but hey, they were very busy, and it didn't spoil the night.All in all, a very enjoyable meal, and we'll definitely return.

Ive eaten here many times and have never been dissapointed. The mamma mia pizza is devine and if they have the home made ravioli special its a must have! Its a little expensive but its always delicious so happy to pay for great food.

Came here for a family birthday, we arrived at 5:50pm. Soon ordered our meal and got them at 7pm! If we wanted a drink we had to ask. Very poor service, pity as it was great food
