Read all my reviews to see as a very good cook, I am very critical. After trying almost every Chinese close by, we now travel 9 minutes on the M1 to buy our takeaway here. Honey Chicken is crisp and not over cooked. Black bean beef is full of black bean flavour, beef is tender with heaps of crunchy veggies. Mongolian lamb is spicey and tender. Gorgeous vegetables. King Po chicken was a test. Cooked well. Really hot. I mean your lips are on fire hot. Fried rice not a fan. Sorry guys but we have had better. We now cook our own steamed rice. Large serves. Looking forward to next week.
This is probably the best Chinese food I have eaten on the Gold Coast. We had Beef and Black Bean, which was absolutely delicious, Sweet and Sour Pork that was soft and tender, with a delicious batter and perfect sauce. The Honey Chicken was tender and delicious, and the Special Fried Rice was authentic and tasty. And let's not even start on the Spring Rolls! If you're looking for authentic and tasty Chinese food, you can't go past Mandarin Garden. Thanks for a beautiful dinner.
We absolutely love the Chinese we get from this restaurant. The first place in Australia than could give NZ Chinese takeaway bars a fun for there money. The food is always extremely fresh and so delicious. The vegetables are fresh and crisp. We love the fried rice, sweet and sour pork and the combination chow mein. The wait time is sometime long but honestly worth the wait for steaming hot and yummy food.
The service at this restaurant is always excellent and the dishes are delicious. The wait times are reasonable as well. My only issue is that some dishes have too much onion and not enough meat.

Best Chinese Food on the Gold coast, the wait is definitely worth it. Absolutely delicious food. Try them you'll feel the same seriously great. Highly recommended
Just the best quality, best tasting food every time. That is what keeps me coming back time and again! They won't rush and ruin your order if they are busy.
First time ordering here, food was incredibly delicious and fresh, loads of vegetables and not oily or sickly at all. Will definitely be back!
The food was OK but not really as Asian as I would have wanted , more like mid way between Asian in a Café and Asian made at home.

Good prices! Call ahead, tho, cuz the can ba line on the weekends, and wait time might b half an hour sometimes.
The food is excellent, the staff is very friendly, and there is plenty of parking available.
