Waiter was lovely. Salad and appetizer was great. Take the eggplant parmesan off the menu. You can still be an Italian Restaurant without it, because everyone else's meal at my table was great. Great service. We ate from the lunch menu which was fried catfish Meunière for$11.95. The fish was a large thick portion that was moist and the crust was light and crunchy. For our side I got the fried onion rings and my wife got boiled potatoes. There were 3 large onion rings (fresh, not frozen) with light crunchy crust. Two potatoes with melted butter and sliced. Gotta go Italian when going to here… You can eat fried shrimp anywhere in Louisiana people (is what I wanted to yell to the diners surrounding us — lol). Food was excellent, service was good, and the kitchen got the food out in a timely manner. Overall great experience. Eggplant parmesan veal parmesan were courses for the evening.... attached.
This Mandeville branch of a longtime New Orleans favorite serves a decent catfish lunch. Spaghetti and meatballs are served with angel hair pasta which isn't quite up to the sauce; meatballs are tennis ball sized. Server needed prompting to bring garlic bread and parmesan cheese. Decent place to eat if you're in the area.

We visited Mandina’s to celebrate my parents’ 50th Anniversary. Our server was Nathan and he was so awesome. All 10 of us ordered different entrees and we loved them all. Such a great atmosphere and we couldn’t ask for a better place to share a great meal and celebrate together.
Her burger wasn't cooked enough, there was a steak on the special but we weren't told about the specials, I had to see on a board on the wall coming back from the restroom after we ordered from the menu. It was our 1st time so I guess they're used to regulars.
Met some friends here for dinner. It’s a solid menu with lots of options. The bar selection is basic, but nothing inspiring. No drink menu. All of the food was good and the service was very timely.
Consistent good food… Creole, you find in New Orleans and Lafayette, but consistently good adds to the Northshore list of good places to eat.

Had 6” shrimp po boy with sweet potato fries..French bread delicious. Prices fair. Gumbo delicious also.
