We spotted this place on our way back to hotel, it’s a small restaurant managed by couple of people so you can’t expect much in terms of service and attention. We ate there around their closure time so many appetizer items were not available. We ordered Biryani which looked like a thali dish with an egg (see picture), I wondered why they’re calling this dish a Biryani. Some of the items on the so called thali Biryani was quite delicious with adequate spices and decent flavors. Prices were quite reasonable.
Most vegetarian options are actually vegan. You can ask the staff (they are nice and know about veganism) or look for the heart icon on the uber iss menu. The food is delicous and the portions are huge. I usually have leftovers. Very recommended! Updated by previous review on 2021-12-18
Was there for a quick lunch break. You can ask for vegan options. You will receive a discount for taking. While I had eaten there, there were at least 10 ppl, which were ordered for taking.
Sehr netter Service und auch wenn es nicht so aussieht: bestes tamilisches Curry in der Stadt. Super authentisch. Ich gehe jeden Tag, wenn ich in Z-Rich sein muss.

Die Gerichte sind immer typisch indisch scharf, aber auch sehr schmackhaft und fein. Es gibt kaum einen Ort in Zürich, wo man für wenig Geld so gut essen kann.
Bislang der beste seiner Art in der Gegend. Alles ein bisschen würziger und nicht ganz so convenient wie die anderen Läden entlang der Josefstrasse.
