Seemed very busy with take out orders so took us a minute or two to be seated but we were welcomed warmly and politely. The restaurant is stylish and modern inside with some nice touches like Indian hats you can try on. We ordered Amritsar fish and onion bhajis for starters, both nice and large portions, followed by a lamb biryani and a smoked eggplant curry which we requested spicy. I had a fantastic evening at this restaurant! The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly. They even accommodated us by allowing my wife to bring in alcohol-free beer since she is pregnant. My son, who typically has a picky palate, absolutely loved the chicken. Overall, we enjoyed a wonderful meal in a beautiful setting. We'll definitely be returning!
After recently moving to Balmain, we were eager to try Manjit's, a well-known institution in Sydney! Thankfully, we weren't let down. The staff was incredibly enthusiastic, and they went above and beyond. The food was truly the best Indian cuisine we've had in Sydney. I can't wait to return. Five stars!
