Mankas Backdoor Grill

Loved it! Being big fans of Lindsey’s BackDoor Bistro in Vacaville, we couldn’t wait to try her new Mankas BackDoor Grill. We weren’t disappointed! Staff was terrific and the food excellent. We started with a beet salad which was light and delicious. My husband had salmon with a curry sauce on the side and ginger carrots. Perfectly prepared. I had the filet mignon which was superb! Wrapped in bacon, truffles, and haricot vert. Full bar and adequate wine list. Would highly recommend it.

Having dined several times at the Vacaville location, my expectations may have been high. We weren't given soup spoons until we asked for them, and there was excess wine at the bottom of one of the glasses, which could have spilled onto clothes. Two of us ordered the shrimp with grits as an appetizer, and the quality was a bit inconsistent. I will give it another try, but I can wait in hopes that they can refine the items on their menu.

We had a wonderful time, great food, great service looking forward to them pouring wine for us when they get their liquor license in a week or so, I know they are going to have amazing wines to go with the amazing food (btw I had the handmade pasta with shrimp and the hubs had the risotto with mushrooms both were so yummy, and don't forget about the beet salad with mousse feta cheese the best!

Every Tuesday night, there’s live music on the terrace featuring two of the best performers, Chris and Rob. That’s why we decided to go! We absolutely loved the atmosphere. Our server, David, was exceptional. The food was delicious, although it is a bit pricey for regular visits. However, I will definitely return and plan to bring more friends next time! the service and eating were absolutely excellent! the entire staff was very attentive, from andrea, the host who sits our request to change the, to our server dante, to eric, the general manager review with all guests to ensure that everything was on place. new owner/cook lindsay chelini knocks it out of the park!

beautiful small location and eating was very good. our service was correct and very pleasant. the prices were not too bad. my only challenge would be parking. would be nice to have more parking space so that they do not have to move on the road when leaving. it's hard to see when dark

Enjoyed a Sunday evening dinner. The menu was varied with good selections. Each ordered a first course and main meal. All dishes were both visually pleasing and very tasty. It was a little slow between courses. We will certainly be back.

the personal knew it was my man birthday, so he got a card and dessert. the food was fabulous! we had the sea bass and the surf and turf lobster and filet mignon and the huhn alfredo. everything was excellent! Reserva una mesa ahora

Service was excellent. The wine I chose was real good. My meal tasted wonderful and the portion was generous. The atmosphere I enjoyed very much. Very nice bar.
