The rooms were quite comfortable, and the atmosphere was peaceful. However, I believe that $180 a night is not a good value for money. The last place I stayed at was significantly cheaper and included a continental breakfast in the price. Additionally, I received a health and safety warning about a toaster. I've owned a toaster for about 40 years and have never experienced one spontaneously catching fire, so the explanation regarding the electrical wiring seemed rather odd. Because of this, I will opt for a different location on my next trip, as I appreciate quality and unique service while traveling.
Everything about this place is average, except for the location. We had booked our room months in advance, but they ended up filling it. The woman we spoke to was very rude and didn't make any effort to resolve the issue; we had booked a double bed but received two singles instead. On the other hand, the lady at the front desk was very nice, apologized profusely, and tried her best to help us.
What a wonderful hidden gem this motel is. Nestled in the Manly Yatch Club grounds. As a lady on her own I felt safe knowing that a secure gate closed at night. My room was immaculate with everything I needed including a bath . The location is perfect everything I wanted was a 3 to 6 minutes drive. Lots of on-site parking.Definitely will be back. You can't go wrong choosing to stay here.
