"Sunday when markets were on is a busy day.We ordered 3 X different $7.50 packs too share. Whiting was good but very little. Calamari was the best value. The "gumby" were fish nuggets. Food was good, but would not order these packs again. We ate at the tables outside. If you wanted coffee and wine, it is available."

The venue is licenced and offers a choice of full waiter service or the outdoor area where you must order at the counter and they deliver your order to your table in a takeaway type box.We have dined in the restaurant part several times and have always enjoyed it but this time we chose the outdoor cafe for a very casual last minute lunch. Our table had a nice view towards the marina. Just so that you know what to expect - its a basic but pleasant setting with self serve plastic cutlery, takeaway style salt & pepper and paper napkins. There's a rubbish and recycling bin as well.We each enjoyed a fantastic lunch of "fish of the day" (snapper, 2 pieces each) $12.50 approx per person. I chose battered and my husband had the grilled and both were excellent and probably the nicest and freshest fish I have had in ages. We also ordered a box of chips which were just perfect. We also enjoyed a bottle of wine. The wine list is good and quite extensive, but not cheap.Service was efficient rather than friendly. It was very quiet when we were there and our meals came out quite quickly. Overall it was a very pleasant experience with great food. No seafood is cheap in Brisbane, even tasteless frozen fish so I felt we got excellent value for what we paid - good quality freshly cooked snapper.

Funny old place. The food quantities are generous but where you can sit in with a takeaway, you order and then when it's ready they sort of throw it at you in a single box with 6 lots of fish in it and another box crammed with chips!Somebody needs to tell them how to deliver it so that it looks appetising but the guy behind the till didn't look the type that wanted to take anything from anybody except their cash!!Seems to be busy and the locals tell me it's the best in the area......so we will certainly not be visiting any of the others!!Food was OK but nothing exceptional!!!

We recently visited and my partner chose the steak, we normally have the fish of the day special which is okay but not great like it should be for the prices that are charged. The steak arrived overcooked and tasteless, my partner who never complains, finally had enough and rather than just suck it up, he said what he felt to the staff who asked how his meal was. He was offered dessert and coffee and he is not a dessert or coffee drinker, what he wanted was just to pay happily for a great prepared steak as he had ordered.

A couple of friends and I ordered from the $20 or less lunch menu and we were happy with what we had. Nothing amazing but quite tasty. I had the beetroot, pumpkin and fetta salad (which didn't have much fetta) and the others had the fish and chips. The service was friendly and it was very pleasant on a sunny day to be sitting at a window table with a view of the marina.
