Mannino's - Reserva de mesa

I'm not usually one to write reviews, but here it goes. I visited the restaurant with my husband on Saturday afternoon and ordered the fusilli saporito. Unfortunately, the chicken tasted like it was a day old. When the waiter asked how everything was, I mentioned that I didn't like the chicken and that it tasted old. He apologized and went to check with the chef. Upon returning, he informed me that the chicken was fine and suggested that perhaps I didn't like the way it was prepared. I reiterated that it was indeed old. While the rest of the dish was tasty, the chicken was a letdown. The waiter apologized again and then asked if we wanted dessert. I ordered the pappardelle bolognese, but it was mostly just the bolognese sauce with barely any pappardelle—maybe two strands at most. My wife had the shrimp fra diavolo, and again, there was hardly any pasta, maybe three strands. Is there a reason for this? It feels like you're trying to save money by cutting back on the pasta. This isn't our first time dining here, and we were disappointed.

I give a five-star rating to the Smithtown pizza location—everything there just tastes better! The other locations have an oily, yellow alla vodka sauce and their food is just okay. However, at the Smithtown store, the food is outstanding, including the alla vodka sauce. I believe this family member really got it right. Sorry to the other locations; I've tried them all!

Service and food good. Calamari was decent. My one suggestion as a chef, the filet mignon was cooked absolutely spot on medium rare. 86 the cheese on top of it. No need for that. Let the steak speak for itself. I've honestly never seen melted cheese on top of a filet, with the exception of blue cheese. Reserva una mesa ahora

The menu offered a wide variety of tasty options, including pasta, steak, seafood, and numerous specials. The appetizer of fried calamari was cooked to perfection. There are many options for various types of diets. Excellent, cozy setting. Excellent cuisine and a welcoming staff. The salads and appetizers were also excellent. Other dishes were pappardelle bolognese, salmon with dijon, and shrimp oreganata. Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The atmosphere and the staff were exceptional. The waitress made us feel like family as she attended to us. To sum it up, the food was fantastic. We were a group of six, and not one of us had any complaints, even though the place was empty. Give it a try; you won't be disappointed!

Excellent staff and delicious food! We attended an event with 20 people and service was perfect. Everyone loved the calamari with red cherry pepper sauce, baked clams were excellent! All entrees were delicious. No complaints.
