My wife and I were visiting this city for just an evening and we asked local friends to recommend a place with good regional food. We were not disappointed with this restaurant's signature dish of carne de sol (plus a mix of roasted chicken) served...with macaxera, beans, rice and vinaigrette. We each also had a caiparinha made with a cachaça from a nearby town. The restaurant--which has been at this location for decades--is also nicely decorated with old photos of Campina Grande as well as chandeliers made from old drinking glasses.
