My husband and I had the most amazing dinner at Le Mansouria. First, the quality of the food was impressive! Sometimes, restaurants that serve food with a lot of spice will buy lower quality ingredients thinking they can hide this with the spice. At Le Mansouria, each dish was obviously made with the highest quality ingredients bringing out the fresh flavor of each meat, fruit and vegetable. Second, each dish was more delicious than the last! Wow! From the small plate appetizers to the main course, to dessert, everything was cooked perfectly, full of flavor and the exact right temperature. While I’m not Moroccan (Italian American , the food made me think of my Mom’s cooking which only happens for me when all my senses are involved. The ambiance was great, the food was awesome and the service was perfectly timed. Of all the places we ate in Paris, this was my favorite! If you like high quality food, that has a ton of flavor and you want a truly ‘local’ place to eat (and you aren’t looking for ‘American food’ , then eating here is a must! Thank you to the staff and chefs for showing us what true Moroccan food tastes like amd for raising the bar for my expectations on eating out in Paris! We will definitely be back! Merci!
Comfortable restaurant with AC (nice in heat wave), nice decor. Food is well done and largely on sweet size, so of that is not your cup of tea you may not like it. Nice mourouzia dish, lamb that fell off the bone, large portion, honey-raisin-almond flavors. The tasting vegetables is a large dish that we could not finish. Friendly staff, attentive. Reasonably priced--out door with glasses of wine, badoit, for 100.
A lovely, lovely place with wonderful food and great service. I'll always remember tasting the wonderful chicken with rose petals on my first visit years ago. I haven't seen that on the menu recently, but have drowned my sorrows in the various tajines, which are equally delicious. On certain visits, I've seen owner Fatema Hal and she has come by the tables to speak with guests a nice touch.
