I wasn't here long, always loved to come here as a teenager. we went last night and there was a long line. we waited for a solid 20 minutes and never moved. it was about 9 o'clock at the Sat night and we were both tired so we decided to grab some menchies on the road. there were two workers who seemed very overwhelmed, but tried their best. they seemed to be weakened with door-to-door orders and could never be able to stand in the way of being in touch. in the 20 minutes I think that only a single customer was helped. the door seemed fast, although they always had these commands ready and the drivers never had to wait. the order with door dash seems to go away to the next time!
I took my daughter to the 82nd street location today as a pick me up and I won't be returning! The place did not look very tidy so we went to eat our ice cream in the car. Not even 1/2 way through my first dip I found a dark hair, thinking that it may have just fallen on it from me or my daughter, I tried to pick it off. That's when I realized that it was mixed in to the ice cream! At that point I was done eating, so as I was scraping the ice cream out of the cone I found a second hair that appeared to be an eyelash. My daughter and I both threw away our ice cream and went home. 1st and last time that I will visit this location!
Bless the young kids working today. They got super busy and these really young high-school kids were still smiling and patient even when some of the customers were not. Mixing that ice cream isn't as easy as you would think!!! Stuff was frozen like a brick, the young lady and gentlemen working were trying their very best. Saw a bunch of negative reviews about this place.... if you can't be happy going and getting some dang ice cream, the world is going to be a really hard place for you. Thanks to the young kids working tonight, really appreciate the smiles and ice cream.
The worst Marble slab ever, whoever runs this place should be embarrassed. The 14 year olds working were horsing around scraping frost into the ice cream, then poorly mixed ingredients to about half a bowl then added just ice cream to the top to almost fill the cup WITHOUT MIXING! After asking to mix it up they ignored the request so i told them to do it over or mix it properly. The young girls ran to the back and left an older one to help us. Still did a half a•• job. I will not be returning to this restaurant. The waitress put too much ice in my drink and it didn't fit in the cup. When her coworker suggested putting the extra ice in a separate cup, the waitress insisted that I pay for the extra cup of ice. There was no manager available to speak to about the situation. It was unreasonable to blame me for the mistake of putting too much ice in the first place. I didn't want to see the excess ice go to waste so I refused to let them throw it away.
Second time we have been here and been disappointed, came in to use our anniversary reward today but this location was almost entirely out of ice cream and a lot of their toppings. So sadly no ice cream for us and not able to use our reward. 2 weeks prior we get to the location and off the car and in the establishment at 10:43pm but they said they could not serve us bc it was their closing time. Where is the management and why are these issues recurring. Lack of management skills ?.
