Historical place, good looking interior and rated among the best in Saarlouis on every website you look. Now the food is good. It is Italian, but not pure Italian, there are some German French influences there. It's not bad. The personnel is friendly, that's...not the problem, but it is like their fame dictates a certain attitude, a having to act like a bad French waiter. The use of French words, mixed in with the German. It could be very good, but somehow it feels wrong.
Excellent kitchen and good service! Our visit to the restaurant was through and through perfect! The food was excellent, the service was very courteous, and I also liked the family ambience!

Good quality food seems more appealing to the German palate, i can't call this the best Italian restaurant abroad like someone else did... good German-Italian kitchen yes.
