Through the years I have become some sort of expert on the Maredo restaurant chain, because I have visited (and reviewed) Maredo restaurants in several German cities. The Maredo restaurant in Muenster has the high standards in food quality I have become to expect from...a Maredo restaurant. All the highlights were present: Excellent South American steak, grilled to perfection, the incredible bargain you get with the luncheon offer (Mittagstisch) and the neat salad bar with very appetizing choices for every taste. First time back for a number of years and felt it was as good today as a few years back. The service, especially that from Nora, was excellent, friendly and fast. The vegetable and chorizo soup was okay but not as spicy as expected. The...steaks and chicken were cooked to perfection and the salad bar is immense and dishes all fresh and recharged. Too full to try dessert but looked good. The Riots was very good and decent price. Local buses are available #5) and if driving the Stadttheatre Parkhaus recommended. A very enjoyable evening had by all.
maredo is a well-known steak restaurant chain in Germany. during the weekdays they offer a limited lunch menu with very attractive trips. as we had planned a day shopping in munster, the lunch in maredo was a no-brainer. we went a bit after the peak time, so we had a quiet place. service was very friendly and efficient, eating was delicious, real value for money and the glass of the beck’s beer was a retanning ring. maredo is recommended, especially for the quality and preparation of the meat. but do not forget their salatable.
Why always talking about experiences away from home? We, four of us are going to this place for the last 15 years or so. If you want to eat steak away from Texas or Alberta, this is the right place to go. The salat bar...is always the second thing appreciated here. Things you typically not doing at home beet root, tuna, pesto, genovesian dressing) are available. Most important to me, I never, literally, never experienced average service. That’s most important I always felt welcome, understood and happy.

Das Fleisch ist hier echt sehr lecker.Bedienung war sehr nett.Ist sein Preis echt wert.Sehr großes Restaurant auch wenn es von draußen nicht den Anschein erweckt.Wenn man aber zu Fuß hinläuft sollte man wissen welche Hausnummer es ist, denn die Straße läuft in mehreren Richtungen. Wir sind erst in die falsche Richtung gelaufen, da wir nicht wussten das es mehrere Straßen mit verschiedenen Hausnummern gibt .
Maredo is not expensive for what you get. If you take one of the non rushing hours you get a good service as well. If on rush hour be patient to have to wait. The salads buffet is a good option to release your pain...in the meantime. In any case the teste of the excelente grilled meat will make the wait worth. The amount of food is a bit more than I can take. Price not excessive! I would recommend
Made a couple of visits during a recent business trip to Muenster. The food was excellent, though i still miss the old steakhaus fries, but would it hurt for the staff to be pleasant. I introduced a couple of Maredo newbies, who seemed very impressed...by the experience; both eating the steak.
Well prepared and tasty food. One person in our party needs to eat gluten free. The restaurant had extensive information both for all items on the salad bar as well as a seperate menu card for dietary information.

restaurant steaks were excellent, consistently cooked. the salatable was fresh and had a great choice. good deal with the rib eye steak and salat bar in offer. we visited 3 times last month. highly recommended!
