First time at Margie’s today. Got the double meat and double cheese burgers with fries and onion rings. First impression was good, friendly service and clean, albeit very smoky. Water was topped up promptly, and the owners (I think! were attentive while not being overbearing we did not feel pestered at all, which is great! We asked for the burgers rare, something new for them, and they were about as rare as possible for a small patty great job. I found the exterior of the burger lacked texture, it was all a bit mushy, this may be because it’s so hard to get the center a medium/medium rare on small burgers. Adding an onion ring to the patty partly corrected the texture, but would work better...

Margie's Bar and Grill, originally established by the reviewer's grandmother, was later sold to a couple who then passed it on to their son. The son still owns the restaurant today. Despite never having visited before, the reviewer believes that waiting 49 years was worth it. The current owners are friendly and create a welcoming family atmosphere. The reviewer tried the Suicide Burger and was impressed, taking half of it home. They believe that eating at Margie's should be a tradition for those attending school in aggieland. Overall, the reviewer feels that their grandmother, Margie, would be proud of how the restaurant has continued to thrive.

The food is good, there is a great atmosphere, and the staff is very friendly, but it took an hour for our food to arrive. I dined here with a group of 11, and although it was a bit snug, the staff allowed us to combine two tables. They mixed up my friend's and my burger orders, but made sure we had the right sides. The onion rings are delicious.

This is the epitome of America's hole in the wall mom-pop hamburger bar! I mean that in the best way. The burgers are the ultimate buttery melt in your mouth old school all American as you can get, cooked to perfection. On Friday night it's karaoke and everybody participates! Reserva una mesa ahora

I remember coming here with my Dad when I was a teenager. I’m now in my 40’s and the burgers are still amazing. If you’re in the downtown Bryan area, and enjoy a great burger, you have to stop in to grab one from Margie’s. This is a great place with great food.

I'm a huge burger guy, and I will say, this is one of the better burgers I've had in the BCS area if not the best. Simple, and super tasty. I enjoyed to Roukee! Cozy, local mom pop vibe in down town Bryan.

First time visiting and sorry I haven't tried it sooner. Great burger. Just the right amount of seasoning and juicy goodness. Will be back.
