My partner and I and our son spent a few days in Mirmande on our way to Antibles and the hotel recommended we try Margot. We are vegetarian and the hotel host called ahead and ask that the chef assist us with vegetarian meals. Very...small town allowing us to walk a few blocks to the restaurant. The hostess was so friendly and sat us on the terrace overlooking the street with a view of the mountains. The waitress spoke English, which helped quite a bit in this town. We were fortunate enough to be invited to Sunday lunch with friends who live in nearby Val du Brian. The welcome was warm and included a friendly wave from the chef de cuisine, who was taking a brief break outside the kitchen. We all chose the terrine de Rouget for the first course, and it was delicious. For the main dish three of us had lamb, beautifully marinated and cooked in wine, and I had a pastry parcel of tender shredded rabbit - perfect! If you want to waste your money (we wasted €205) then dine here! True that it’s set in a beautiful French village but all that is inconsequential when you meet the steely, rude and arrogant woman in charge. From the moment we arrived the ambience...was cold and disagreeable and it remained so throughout. The starters arrived and one of the components was missing and then the waitress brought it after my colleagues had finished their meal. The mains we just very average, and the desserts again poorly executed. All in all we would never ever return and seriously if you’re interested in good food and service then avoid at all costs! Rubbish! Rude, aggressive.

Whilst touring the hilltop villages in Le Drome, France we chanced upon this little gem. Obviously very popular with the locals it was almost full, but madame found a nice little table. The food was really excellent as was the service. Price of that day's menu was as attached and just right. We would strongly recommend this little restaurant. A walk round the pretty village with its stunning views was a bonus.

excellent cuisine! One of the best in all our years of travel in France. Remarkable as Mirmande is a tourist destination...a lovely village, labelled one of the most beautiful in France. Beautiful terrace. Friendly service. The Côte d'Agneau with mushrooms and sweet patatoe was almost cold when served. Fortunately, we were not asked to drink something so that we could limit the costs to EUR 19.50 per person. What was still too much for what we... forgot.

Thanks again to Guide Routard for bringing us here. A welcome break to a long trip directly on the car route in the beautiful village of Mirmande. The food was freshly cooked and super. Despite a Saturday lunchtime, the service was good...too.

We stayed one night in the beautiful Mirmande and had a wonderful meal at the Restaurant Margot. The environment is fantastic and the food was very good. The staff was nice and accommodating, which made our visits very pleasant.

We loved this beautiful, unassuming restaurant. The service was excellent, the quality of ingredient and the choice of dishes was simply stunning. We enjoyed it so much, we can't wait to go back next time we are in Mirmande.

What a lovely restaurant. Visited for 2 nights at the beginning of Sept-15. Great menu, lovely staff. Excellent food quality and a really superb location
