Maria - Reservar una mesa

Not sure how this restaurant has five stars but I was here last week and I was not impressed. First, the waitress that we had did not seem genuinely friendly is as if it sounded forced and she was very slow when it came to getting her attention that we had to constantly ask for things from the busboys…Second the food is over priced- I ordered the chicken scarp and the plate presentation was sloppy and the chicken tasted mediocre. Third the restaurant was very hot as if there was absolutely no AC on. I don’t think I would come back…..

We went for our daughter’s graduation lunch and the reservations changed a few times. I know the restaurant is usually busy and thought we were going to walk into a snobby atmosphere, especially due to our multiple changes… I was so wrong!They were exceptionally accommodating, friendly and helpful! They didn’t make my teens feel like little kids and the service was impeccable. The food came out quickly and for the 7 people, including VERY picky teen girls, everyone was happy! We will all be going back!

Maria Restaurant is by far the best restaurant in New Rochelle. I hosted my rehearsal dinner at Maria and it was the best experience possible. All of my guests, including myself, loved their food as well as drinks. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and the owner Giovanni is a pleasure to work with. I could not recommend this restaurant more for a lunch or dinner out with friends and family, or for a private event. I have visited the restaurant numerous times and every experience was exceptional.

I would not recommend eating here during a 90⁰ night. The restaurant was so hot we didn't even enjoy our dinner. Couldn't wait to pay the bill and get out of there. They blamed the hot weather but the AC had to have been broken.Food was good but under seasoned and server was unwelcoming.Food: 3/5

Came for dinner with a friend. Food was delicious and the ambiance was lovely! Our waiter took a little longer at times to return to the table but other than that, highly recommend.Food: 5/5
