the food was good (kapressknödel suppe and salat with smoked trout.) the service was friendly, warm and that although the gas house was superb (incl. garden.) the waiting period was bearable, but surely still has potential up. in any case a great excursion destination, even the children's playground helps families very much.

nice restaurant, run by the convent, with large outdoor spaces and a beautiful interior room. Simple but good dishes, honest prices. outside there is a small playground. It is ideal after or before a nice walk on the mountains of the serles.

met de kabelbaan vanuit Mieders,een mooie wandeling ,naar maria waldrast. mensen die moeilijk te been zijn kunnen ook vanaf de kabelbaan met een treintje naar maria waldrast. boven aangekomen zie je een mooi kapel en een goed restaurant.
