I came here once before pre-pandemic and loved it... When I came here a few weeks ago it was all too Hamilton and some woman from Here We Are who came and basically tookover. There were some other songs from other shows you 'll recognize as well if you actually love musicals. We got some Les Mis and Little Shop but it always came back to Hamilton. Lots of people sitting at the bar were chatting away while others wanted to get closer to the piano and sing along. I 'm not sure what other reviewers were saying about people here knowing the words, but I saw lots of people with phones out looking up lyrics. It felt so good to be at Marie 's again after so long. Singing show tunes with strangers that can really sing will always be better than karaoke! It 's got a cash bar and a really nice bartender named Randy. It 's a really fun place that still feels like the 'old west village. ' And be sure to tip the piano player please!
My new favorite place in NYC! Cash-only bar and no food, but the talent is God-level and the vibe is perfection. All showtunes, all the time, surrounded by fellow patrons who all know every damn word to every damn show and have the chops to belt them out! A must-see!
This place is amazing. The atmosphere was fantastic. Even though we went on a Thursday evening and it was busy, we were still able to find seats. I highly recommend including this restaurant in your New York trip itinerary.

If you love musicals you absolutely MUST go to this bar! One of my favourite bars in NYC. Go along and listen to a bunch of happy, talented new yorkers singing along to tunes from every musical imaginable!
If you have space in your heart and are a fan of Broadway showtunes, this is the place for you. There is a two drink minimum, but no limit on the showtunes they play.
Must visit for anyone at least once. Happy vibes . No food, no cover charge but yes 2 drinks min, cash only. No video allowed. Enjoy!
One of my favorite NYC places! All Broadway, amazing piano players, and everyone sings! Not fancy, but the BEST music off Broadway!

The show tunes were fantastic, the bartender was friendly and had a great sense of humor, and the atmosphere was very relaxed.
