Marina Cafe and Bar is a beautiful restaurant. We visited for Father's Day lunch and despite the crowd, we were greeted warmly by the staff and served promptly. We sampled a variety of items from the menu, with the pizza being particularly delicious. The kids enjoyed the fish and chips, but my personal favorite was the chicken burger. The atmosphere was lively, with good music and friendly staff, and the location by the marina was superb. We arrived by boat and docked right next to the restaurant, adding to the special experience. Cockatoo Island is a fantastic destination for a family outing and we are looking forward to coming back soon.

We stopped in here for brunch during a recent visit to Cockatoo Island. It was a quiet day, and we almost had the very pleasant cafe area to ourselves. Not much to complain about at all: the view and overall ambience is lovely and the...service was fine and prompt. Breakfast rolls and wraps were sustaining, the carrot cake nice and moist, and the coffee was good, too. My only complaint is the coffee is only available in takeaway cups, even if you're having a sit-down meal. Not a good look at most times, let alone at a UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site.

visit the island, we have for a couple of drinks and lunch lunch lunch week. it was quiet (not the weather was not great.) from previous visit we found the marina cafe bar to be the two most important places on the inseln. Covid...security was bad, a single QR code for check-in was hidden under their card reader. there were no requests from employees (or characters) to sign the customers. with a reduced menu we have not gedint. the beer selection was also limited in comparison to our last visit, as the separate bar area was closed as it was quiet.

I went for a day trip yesterday and ordered a kichererbsalat for $14.50 it was a very bad value, but the biggest care was the way it was prepared. I stood in the pick-up window and watched the whole process. the lady...preparingly she took up the few salat components and then ripped them into a bowl with her hands, no gloves and without washing her hands after she had treated money at the cash desk. ! I am sure that this is not in agreement with health regulation, especially in times of a pandemic. I will certainly not buy food there again. Reserva una mesa ahora

The Marina Cafe Bar on Cockatoo Island, has a simple great menu and the pulled pork wraps are so yummy and tasty...The coffee is also amazing. It's a great beer garden, cafe very casual to enjoy the atmosphere of an old island that used...to maintain ships. The cafe owner Melissa is a very friendly lady and the staff are lovely, (met her for the first time and enjoyed our little chat). I would recommend this place to everyone and especially if you want to bring your overseas/interstate visitors, its only a ferry ride and great views.

We visited the restaurant on a sunny Saturday afternoon and it was just okay. The location is beautiful, but the prices are higher due to being on an island. The surprising part was the food running out and long wait times for orders. The view and setting are nice for Cockatoo Island. There are limited menu options but plenty of seating. I would recommend it for a drink while on the island. However, I was disappointed that management responded to my TripAdvisor review as it is meant for the public.

she asked herself in the caffe, while one of us scored a table. check the quite extensive menus next to the waiting queue and decided our decisions. 20 minutes in the waiting queue and finally to come to the counter, to say there are only toasties available. Painful....Can have a sign over the whole thing with the hint toasties just sorry glued on! all then had to make new decisions to keep the wait.

Mel and Dave looked after our family and friends celebrating my Wife's 40th Birthday. There was no fuss and everything was very well organised. The location was brilliant! Some of our guests hadn't seen Cockatoo Island before so was an adventure for them and their...kids. Highly recommended for a celebration, lazy Sunday afternoon or simply an adventure for a young family. Food was great for a party. Reserva una mesa ahora

We stopped here midway through the self-guided walking tour for lunch. There are a limited choices on the island Dash two and this was one of them. I had fish and chips which were quite good and my wife enjoyed a toasted ham and cheese...wrap. The ambience is nice, particularly on a sunny afternoon, but you must fend off the seagulls who are used to picking up the scraps.
