eating was too expensive for what they received and was not worth it. service was not great. the seat was damaged, what we didn't know until someone ripped his pants in it. we let the server know that the nails kept out and the seat was actually quite damaged. we were dismissed about the comments. the drinks were questionable and discussed with the server, but were taken with in the ground “oh good” we will definitely not be passing this as place to visit in pictou. when a comment was sent about a message about the situation, we received a “Daming Up” instead of any reconciliation. pity, really, a small city with this type of service gives no very welcoming mood.

I recently had lunch at this restaurant and it truly exceeded my expectations. The location and atmosphere are fantastic, with a charming ambiance and a cozy fire. The owners and staff were very attentive and the food was delicious, fresh, and generously portioned. I was impressed that they served tea in a real pot with a cup and saucer. The restaurant also has a full bar and many small details that make it a special yet casual place to enjoy a meal. This was not my first visit and it certainly won't be my last. I highly recommend dining here!

I called ahead for a takeout order and was 10 minutes late due to being stuck in the snow. My friend and I were met with rudeness by the man at the front. When we explained the situation, his response was "Yes? How about getting out of bed before noon." We ordered an open hot hamburger sandwich that was bland, drowned in flavorless gravy, and seemed to have a hair in it. Even our dog refused to eat it.

The “Lobster Roll” was canned lobster in a hamburger bun. For $23. The worst Lobster roll I have ever had. Bone in the other party’s roll. When everywhere else serves their lobster rolls on a hotdog or sausage bun with ample meat why deviate. McDonald’s and Subway have better lobster rolls. Atmosphere was great and servers wonderful. The food was delicious, our group was promptly served and refills on drinks were generous. It was our first visit, but we will definitely be returning!

Great spinach salad with a side of grilled garlic bread. So yummy!! Super friendly staff which is nice to see especially during these covid19 times .

Ordered what i was to believe fresh scallops got breaded with tatrar sauce and they were bought from sysco not even local or fresh
