Marinitas - Reservar una mesa

This is popular dining space in Marin great for kinds and Adults alike. Fun and creative ambiance. The food this time unfortunately was a huge drop from the past. The flavors were not distinctive in our tacos (fish and chicken) some of the worst ever tasted. Surprisingly they are not offering port (carnitas) tacos. We did have the carnitas entree and again nothing special the flavor of the meat was not very deep and as a dish was very uninspiring. We like to eat food that has unique distinctive flavors that would want us to say we can’t get this anywhere else and would make us want to come back. The meal we had did not inspire or make us want to return. Sorry to say they have loss their way

We ended up sitting at the bar which was festive and bonus you can get single fish tacos which are a meal on their own and are full of flavor. We also ordered the guac a must and the spicy margarita with the spicy salt. The chips are crispy and fresh and the vibe is cool. The decor is a bit odd/outdated with a creepy black magic monkey behind the bar below a trapped antlers chandelier, and the dining room has old carpet. The service and food are good enough you can overlook the surroundings

Reliably good food and service. A little on the noisy side at night but tolerable. It's a go-to place for me

food is straight forward with good margaritas. Works for families/kids. Can get crowded and noisy plan ahead
