Mariscos Las Islitas #1

I'm going to start off this review by saying due to other reviews I read I did not get the shrimp so I cannot speak to that. However I will note some of the reviews I read seemed more to me that it wasn't an issue with the food but the atmosphere wich in my opinion was the atmosphere you should expect from a Latin bar/restaurant; loud music, Spanish speaking staff and Micheladas the red horror drink in one review). I ordered some ceviche tostadas and some tequila, it was great, a bit pricey but very well done. Seeing others orders come out they also looked great. Of you're in the area and don't mind very loud music and a language barrier I recommend stopping by.

We literally sat across from the kitchen/register area. It took at least 20 minutes to get our order in, and another 20 for our food to be brought to the table once it was ready in the window. Our food was okay. Nothing special. My boyfriend ordered ceviche, and it was more vegetable than seafood.Needless to say, we will not be going back.

Shrimp cocktail was disgusting it tasted like I was eating beach water ? they don’t devein their shrimp very gross

Food was ok, but there weren't many options. It was pretty run down. The water tasted funny.

A bit salty on the 7 mares soup but other than that its good!!
