I was running errands in the area and I thought I would give this well reviewed place a try. I was not at all impressed with the (savory) food, especially at the price point. The soba noodle salad was 85% noodles with hardly a vegetable to be seen. It was overdressed and unremarkable. Don't make the same mistake I did by ordering the grilled eggplant parmesan. This dish does not live up to its promise and is a major disappointment for eggplant parmigiana lovers. The grilled eggplant and sauce wasn't very flavorsome, and the combination of cheeses was all wrong. I ate a bit of cheese off the top and left the rest, which is unheard of for me. We found this place at random while driving to Planting Fields Arboretum and we were happy we did. While the food wasn't spectacular enough to warrant a 40 minute drive back just to eat, I would happily come back again if I happen to be in the area. I ordered the short rib grilled cheese (hold the pickled onion) and found it to be on the greasy side, but very cheesy with a nice amount of short rib inside. I suspect that the pickled onion would have balanced the sandwich better in terms of salty, sour, sweet, etc but I'm just not a fan. My girlfriend had the fresh fish sandwich (happened to be fluke) and she liked it she echoed that it was not out of this world though a very solid dish. Price...

I called day of for seating for 8 people on a Friday night, the person over the phone was able to get us in which was awesome because they’re always so busy! The cocktails were good! We ordered all the appetizers and loved it as well as our main dishes. The MB Burger was nicely cooked with great flavors. Braised short rib was also really good. Dessert..Warm apple crisp was literally the best. The only downside from our experience there was our waiter being a little rude and rushing us to get our order in and would take a while to come back to order drinks.

Market Bistro aims to source locally. They have a great menu that changes seasonally. A great wine selection and full cocktail menu. Attentive staff that makes you feel like you are the only patrons they are serving. The chef is a master from grilling a lobster to a NY Strip Steak with red wine jus. Adam the owner stopped by and made us feel like home at our last visit. Glad we didn't commute to the city for a nice dinner. Better than Opus if you ask me.

We only had appetizers after seeing how highly priced the bigger plates were. The food and service was great. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, we sat outside. Ordered the Chicken quesadillas and Octopus appetizers, only thing is the food came out pretty cold. Although it was delicious I took a star off because of cold food and high priced plates.

Finally was able to enjoy an amazing meal at Market Bistro. For years I’ve heard how delicious and fresh the food is, and wow, we were blown away! Every item was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The Chef and staff were all so nice and so welcoming. Can’t wait to go back and try more amazing food!

Had a very nice post Thanksgiving lunch. Service was friendly and attentive. The meals were well prepared and enjoyable. We had butternut squash soup, pulled pork quesadilla, grilled Brussels sprouts, tuna tartare and pork chop.

Relaxed atmosphere, great food, nice wine beer lists, and yummy cocktails. I'm not generally excited about dessert but they have a delicious carrot cake I shared with my husband on one of our date nights.

Local Bistro located in Jericho. Good place for business lunch. The salads are great. The Cobb and Siba noodle are very good choices. They also have French Onion soup.
